My fiance is a huge DBZ anything fan, so when I saw this, it was really a no brainer.
The stand and Dragon Balls may look like glass, but they're really a tough acrylic that is almost impossible to break. Shenron himself is made of the same rubber-feeling material most action figures are made of, so he's pretty durable too.
This piece is definitely for the collector, though given what it's made of, I don't see why a child couldn't play with Shenron or the larger Dragon Balls. I wouldn't let a small child play with the seven Dragon Balls that are sitting on the bottom shelf of the stand though due to their size.
This is definitely a piece any DBZ fan will love for years to come. I'm even going to get another one so my mom can have one.
I got this on Wish for $8. I LOVE Bleach and Kon is one of my favorite characters.
Luckily, this isn't for a child. The quality is more of the collector caliber, it's definitely not something I'd let be played with since I'm sure it would fall apart.
As a collectible, it's definitely worth getting though. It looks just like him!
I love FMA and I couldn't resist the price. The pieces are lightweight and feel kind of fragile honestly. The ring is too big for any of my fingers. The necklace is fine, it hasn't even tried to change colors yet.
The State Alchemist pocket watch is a real working clock that I assume is a wind up because there's no way to open it if it runs on a battery. I really like the watch, it has a chain for it and everything. It even has the engraving Ed put in it inside the lid.
A great $4 find on Wish. My daughter has played with this thing every day since she got it and it hasn't fallen apart yet!
This was actually a decent find on Wish. It was only like $4 and it's not a poorly made as most stuffed animals found on the site. My 11-year-old was very happy to get this Christmas morning.
This doll costs about 1/2 the price of its competitor, American Girl. It doesn't come with the books or have the history that AG dolls do, but they are just as high-quality as AG dolls are. Everything from body, to hair, to clothing is meticulously done down to the last detail. There's also tons of accessories and outfits you can get for them.
I picked this one because she reminds me of my daughter, down to the puffy hair and glasses. She loves that the doll looks like her and it's among her must-drag-everywhere toys.
While Madam Alexandra dolls cost less than AG dolls do, unless you're shopping around the holidays, you're still going to pay around $150 or higher for certain ones. Even the newborn dolls are over $100 when they aren't on sale.
Due to the cost, even when on sale, I wouldn't recommend this doll to children who don't properly care for their toys. This is a collectible and while it's meant to be played with, if it gets ruined, you've wasted a LOT money.
I was lucky, I got mine during holiday time when they were on sale and only paid $60 for this one. So my advice would be to hawk them and wait until the price drops for a good deal.
This guy was an AMAZING price considering it's an authentic replica; I paid less then $70 on Amazon for him. It's an officially licensed Slappy doll. I like that his eyes glow in the dark. I got him for my daughter, who is terrified of this doll now, even if Slappy is her favorite Goosebumps baddie.
He's the size of the standard ventriloquist dummy and even comes with an eBook to teach you how to be a ventriloquist.
I just wish his shoes would stay on, I'm tired of finding them all over the house lol
