This was an interesting story. It followed a little boy who was half cat, named Toby. He was genetically created by six scientists who had survived the end of the world because they were lonely. Toby sets out into the remains of the world following a voice only he can hear, to find out if he has a soul since he wasn't created like normal people.
There are a handful of spelling errors in the story, nothing drastic.
I think this is a very good story for Christian children. It has a strong message about God and how no matter how you look God loves you anyway. It's a very nice bedtime story I think all children, and even older preteens (at least ones with a strong Christian faith) will enjoy immensely.
Even though I'm not Christian, I enjoyed the story for what it was. My only regret is that Toby's adventures ended so abruptly. I hope the author will consider sending Toby the Trilby on some more adventures.
I give this book 4 of 5 paws
