I adore Chewy. I buy all my pet stuff from them because delivery is fast and customer service is amazing.
My only gripe with the shipping, is sometimes a bag of cat food or dog food, or the cat litter will be ripped a little upon arrival. I've never made a complaint about it, because it's not really that important. I'm not even sure if the damage is on their end or not really, though I do suspect it's something that happens in their warehouse sometimes, especially if there's no damage to the box just the cat food or dog food bag, we've all had those hit and misses with forklifts at least once lol. Okay, not everyone has, but I've seen it happen where I work, so I know those accidents happen, and sometimes they aren't caught because of where the nick happens (typically the bottom bags on the pallet that the forks catch when they go to grab the pallet). Those nicks aren't caught unless food/litter/etc is coming out of the bag, so it's not until way later that it's noticed. And it's really no one's fault, so I've never complained about it.
Delivery time is typically two days. I kid you not. I order every Thursday night when I get my paycheck and my order arrives every Saturday afternoon via FedEx. You really can't get better than that. Amazon doesn't even typically that quickly (even if they say they do).
This company really cares about their customers. It's rare that you have a company contact you wanting to rectify something you've received damaged or that didn't meet THEIR quality standards without you having to contact them first. But, this company does and WILL. They emailed me today about the reviews I'd left for the pet products I bought and REFUNDED me for ALL OF THEM without me ever having contacted them first. That's almost $200 worth of products I'm being refunded for and I never even contacted them. All I did was leave reviews warning other customers about the products if they have as many pets as I do, or if their pets are hyper as mine are.
Yes, Chewy's prices may be a little higher on some items, but you're not going to the bang for your buck anywhere else, I can guarantee this. I am a true-blue Chewy.com loyal customer now >~.^<
