I've been playing this game since it first released. I've played it so much that not only do I have this 4-disc monster of a game down to a 12-hour-to-beat mastery, but I've burned through 4 copies of it LOL It's always disc 3 that gets the gash and always in the same place. I'm not sure if that's an overall design flaw or if it's deliberate at this point!
while the graphics are absolutely dated for this day in age, the game and its story are classic. They are worth the playing every single time.
I hope someday they come out with a sequel.. or a movie.
This game pretty much follows the anime, starting from when Ichigo and the others rescue Rukia from the tower.
It's an okay game, but very repetitive, much like Mortal Kombat is, which can get boring at times.
I do like the 4-player wifi capability though that allows you to play with friends, and that there are several different modes to play in. There's also a Spirit Card Deck that helps with your items like health and power boosts. You're able to customize the Spirit Card Decks so you always have what you need on hand.
It's still a game I'd play again and again.
I got this game for my daughter, who's 9. She can't stop playing it!
As a parent, I like the education aspects of the game. Players have to not only collect cards, which you do by collecting all the trading cards (in-game) for a horse, but they have to feed, bathe and groom their horses too. They also get to enter them in races and walk them on trails where they find trading cards for new horses.
This is a great game for all little kids who love horses.
Totally worth it if you're a fan of the anime and RPGs.
This isn't a remake of the anime in game form, this is a brand new story. You start off with Janis, who, like Kagome before her, ends up in the Feudal Era. By the end you can play with all your favorites.
The game play is overly simple, and fights are pretty easy to beat. There's enough of them to keep you occupied though.
I really like the storyline for this game and it's part of the reason I give it 5 paws.
This game follows the original anime, not Brotherhood. I love that it starts with Alphonse buried in the sand, just like the first episode of the anime lol.
Game play is old arcade style; think the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, or any other platform arcade game. The game play is a bit tricky, while it's simple to hit and kill enemies, the bosses are another story. You really need to come up with a strategy to get past them.
All in all, this is a game I will continue to play over and over again because FMA is awesome in any form.
This is an amazing saga and I got it for a steal! Not only does it have God of War 1-3 on the discs but it gives you codes to get God of War: Chain of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta for FREE too! That's five games for all of $20.00 and is a great buy if you ask me!
The graphics on this game are what you'd expect from Sony and the game play, while more advanced than your average platform RPG, are just challenging enough to keep the gamer on their toes.
This is a must have box set for any gamer who enjoys platform and RPG games.
